DESTINATIONS : Kolkatta-Kaziranga-Kalimpong-Sunderbans-Kolkatta
Day 01 : Arrive Kolkatta
Assistance on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Kolkatta-Guwahati (By Air), Guwahati-Kaziranga (By road)
Morning, transfer to the airport to board flight for Guwahati. Assistance on arrival and transfer directly to Kaziranga National Park. On arrival check in at your hotel/resort. In the evening witness tribal or Bihu dance by the log fire under bamboo grove along with dinner. Overnight at the hotel/resort
Day 03 : Kaziranga National Park
Wildlife viewing and nature walk in the park. Late afternoon, tribal village visit, Assamese village visit to see the silk worm rearing. Overnight at the hotel/resort
Day 04 : Kaziranga National Park
Early morning, visit the park on elephants (subject to availability). Late afternon, visit to tea garden and tea factory. Overnight at the hotel/resort
Day 05 : Kaziranga-Guwahati (By road) Guwahati-Bagdogra (By air) Bagdogra-Kalimpong (By road)
Morning drive to Guwahati to connect flight for Bagdogra. Assistance on arrival and drive to Kalimpong. Kalimpong has a number of houses which speak of the town's heritage and gracious living in earlier decades of this century when it was the main trading post between Tibet and British India. Today it is a flourishing floriculture center as the climate has proved to be extremely conducive for this activity. Checkin at your hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 06 : Kalimpong
Morning, at lesiure. Afternoon, city tour of Kalimpong. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Kalimpng-Siliguri-Kolkatta
Morning, free. Afternoon, drive to Siliguri to board overnight train for Kolkatta. Overnight in the train.
Day 08 : Arrive Kolkatta
On arrival meet and assist at the railway station at transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, half day city tour of Kolkatta. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 : Calcutta-Sunderbans National Park
Morning, leave Kolkatta for Basant Port. Arrive the port and take a cruise to Sajnekhali by a dedicated motorised launch. Overnight in the launch. Dinner and overnight on the boat.
Day 10 : Sunderbans National Park
Full day cruise through the mangrove creeks for wildlife viewing and birding. Lunch on the boat. Anchor at Sajnekhali by sunset. Slide show (optional) on wildlife in Mangrove Interpretation centre in the evening with tea and snacks. Dinner and overnight on the boat.
Day 11 : Sunderbans-Kolkatta
Morning visit to Rangabeloa Tagore Society to see the rural development project. Return to Basanti by the afternoon. Transfer to Kolkatta by car. Checkin at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 :
Depart Kolkatta. Transfer to the international airport to board flight back home.
