Day 1 Delhi
Your India holiday begins when you arrive in Delhi. The executive from India Holiday Packages will receive you at the airport and help you transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a city sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi in afternoon covering Raj Ghat, Shanti Vana, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Qutub Minar built in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Lakshminarayan Temple, President House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 2 Kullu - Manali
Depart from New Delhi by air for Kullu. On arrival at Bhuntar Airport move to Manali hill station. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 3 Jispa
Reach Jispa by jeep passing through the Rohtang Pass en route. Watch the open valley through which flows the gushing River Chandra. Enjoy the trekking by climbing the hillside at Keylong, a quaint village on the trade route between India and China/Tibet. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 Sarchu
Travelling through Darcha, only 6 km from Jispa, Baralacha, Darcha-Sumdo village across the Bhaga River and Bhagsu, continue driving towards the Sarchu plains at an altitude of about 3900-odd metres. Enjoy a real trekking expedition and the thrilling adventure holiday inherent in the steep climb on the towering peaks. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Leh
Drive through the Sarchu plateau and arrive at the foot of Lachungla. Then arrive at Pang Valley. Move towards the Moore plains at 4,200 metres, the highest of the Tibetan plateaux. Continue driving to Tanglangla that offers you breathtaking views of the Zanskar range. Reach the Ladakhi hamlet, Gya near which you get the great Indus River. Leh has many monasteries atop hillocks. The Kanglachen which is 6,020 metres in the Leh valley is again a picturesque spot.
Day 6 Leh
Morning is free for leisure and holiday activities. An afternoon half-day city sightseeing tour takes you to the tourist places like Shankar Gompa, Spituk and Phyang Monasteries. In the evening visit Ladakh.
Day 7 Leh
As soon as you reach Leh, go for a full-day excursion to Shey, Thikse and Hemis Monasteries.
Day 8 Delhi
Depart for New Delhi by air from Leh. At the airport, the executive from India Holiday Packages will help you to transfer to the flight to your onward destination.
